Connecting more devices

At outdoorcells we get more and more questions from customers if it is also possible to connect other devices like inverters and cool boxes. With the extensive range of connection cables and adapters all 12V devices can be connected to every Lithium Outdoorbox. This makes your Lithium Outdoorbox more widely usable when you are not using it for the electric motor. For example, use it as a large power bank to charge all your USB devices. It is also possible to connect inverters so that 230V is available everywhere. To make it even easier we developed the stackable modules. With these you transform your Outdoorbox into a full-fledged energy station. With the optional solar box and solar panel you can keep the Outdoorbox powered and use the generated solar energy immediately or later.

Stackables

The compact stackable Outdoor boxes in the stackable series are designed to power any device. Add an Inverter box, for example, and you have 230V at the waterfront! Do you want longer away from home and infinite energy? Then it is possible to add a solar charger (solarbox) and solar panel. The Solarbox has all outputs such as USB, 12V and a special ENGEL connection for Dometic CFX3 Compressor Coolboxes. The vast majority of battery and energy products are offered without a plug. The most common connections are the battery poles as with a conventional lead-acid battery or a screw connection. These connections can cause problems over time as the metal is exposed to weathering. This can lead to corrosion and rust which can cause a variety of problems. Think of poor performance of your motor but also damage to the battery! The Outdoorcells Lithium and Sodium Outdoorboxes are therefore always equipped with original Anderson plugs. These plugs do not rust and also have a very low resistance so devices continue to function better, even after years of intensive use. In addition, the cables have the correct diameter and temperature specifications so you can connect the most powerful 12V whisper motors without any worries!

Headlamp and Phone charging

Not all of our Outdoorboxes have a USB outlet to charge phones and tablets, for example. 8 Years of experience have taught us that 12V cigarette plugs, USB connections make an Outdoorbox not 100% waterproof anymore. To still be able to connect your USB devices and/or 12V cigarette plugs we offer several adapters which easily fit in your fishing bag. Advantage is that your Outdoorbox is guaranteed waterproof when you use it in the boat for your whisper motor, even during heavy rain. Put the Outdoorbox in a dry place, in your tent for example and easily connect a adapter for example USB to charge all your devices. After charging your head lamps, bivvy lamps and phone, store the adapter dry again in your fishing bag.
